Dust off the boots, turn off the webcam and get yourself to Tamworth! 

We say it every year but we're super excited to be talking about Mayworth again. After the unfortunate events in 2020 that shut down every event and made us all look online, the thought of getting the gang back together again is even more special in 2021. The line dancing community has always been strongly connected and last year certainly showed this with online forums and classes becoming a daily or weekly ritual (especially in our house on a Wednesday night thanks to Maddison Glover). The choreographers found new ways to collaboratively create new dances despite being on different sides of the world and then take us inside their houses during lockdowns to share their excitement. 

But fingers crossed the real deal is back. Classes have returned to dance floors across the Australia, all be it with some social distancing changes, but at least we're feeling the beat. With easing of restrictions in NSW, we're hopeful Mayworth can provide an opportunity to resume some normality and let us celebrate being together with a massive party. There's an abundance of clubs who have booked their ticket on the dance floor already and we're locked in too, we're not sure of what this year will bring but we'll be there, camera in hand, ready to capture the competition magic. Due to the event being at the Tamworth Town Hall, there may some changes in our product offering but we're more than open to any suggestions or requests you may have. Amanda and myself will both be onsite all weekend so please feel free to come and introduce yourself to us if you don't know us already. When you're on the dance floor, remember to smile and keep your eye out for me, I'll be there.
