Mayworth 2019...... what the?

I'm sorry but I don't recall 1 year, 12 months nor 365 days going by since we last saw each other. What is happening with time these days? Whilst I am only a part time photographer and hold a full time job, my spare time is not as limited as yours, the dancers. I'm sure you've been busy too preparing for another Mayworth, practising the new dances, learning the new social ones and getting magnificent outfits ready again. I really can't complain. With both of our girls competing again at Mayworth in 2019, we know what is involved in preparing dancers and we know what's about to happen..... Mayworth.

I sometimes struggle to explain Mayworth to 'outsiders', it's a weekend filled with wonderful and bright personalities, competition filled with laughter and performances bursting with energy and most importantly, just great people that attend Mayworth. That's what I love about Mayworth, seeing familiar faces return and getting to photograph them. I hope you don't mind me sitting in the corner trying to photograph you smiling whilst dancing, I know you're deep in thought, concentrating on getting your steps right and arms where they need to be. But if I can get that image of you smiling, it's awesome and it makes my day.

So, remember to smile.... Enjoy the performance you're giving us.

Changes to this year - our studio (or pre dance) images will be better, I've invested in a second camera body, new studio strobes and additional equipment to make improved images this year. We'd also like for you to contact us before leaving Tamworth if you need any assistance with purchasing images from the website. We're more than happy to help.
